HOUSTON, TEXAS (Pietro D. Pitts, Energy Analytics Institute, 18.Dec.2024, Words: 115) — The government of Mexico’s president Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo has a sharp eye on designing and assembling an electric vehicle (EV), to be named Olinia, that would be stamped 100% ‘Made In Mexico.’
Olinia means “move” in Náhuatl, and is projected to be an accessible EV for Mexican families and youth, with competitive prices compared to other brands in the sector, Mexico’s Energy Secretariat announced 18 Dec. 2024 in an official statement.
