(Energy Analytics Institute, 19.Nov.2024) — Viridien launched its industrial Viridien Cloud for AI and HPC production at SuperComputing 2024 in the US.
The launch expands on Viridien Cloud’s established success in Europe, and offers tailored cloud solutions and end-to-end expertise to optimize compute-intensive production workloads for US industries, Viridien said 19 Nov. 2024 in an official statement.
The launch also builds on decades of established HPC operations in the US that have supported its subsurface imaging business, Viridien is now introducing its innovative cloud solutions to meet the evolving and specific needs of key sectors, including AI, life sciences, engineering, digital media and energy, the company said in the statement.
The US launch of Viridien Cloud offers access to Viridian’s unique Outcome-as-a-Service (OaaS) model—a results-driven approach where pricing is based on outcomes, rather than consumption. OaaS provides end-to-end performance optimization aligned with business KPIs, ensuring predictable, guaranteed costs. With this model, businesses can achieve more with less, maximizing efficiency and performance while increasing their return on investment.
“The expansion of Viridien Cloud into the US underscores our commitment to delivering cutting-edge HPC services and transforming industry access through a new cloud model,” Viridien EVP, HPC & Cloud Solutions Agnès Boudot said in the statement.
“Our local teams of software engineers, computational scientists, HPC architects and data center architects are ready to drive full-spectrum optimization and exceptional value for our US clients,” Boudot said.
