Petrobras Says TGB and TSG Divestments Still in Binding Phase

(Petrobras, 15.Mar.2022) — Petrobras, regarding the pieces of news in the media about the sale of all of its 51% stake in Transportadora Brasileira Gasoduto Bolívia-Brasil S.A. (TBG) and 25% in Transportadora Sulbrasileira Gás S.A. (TSB), clarifies that this divestment project is still in the binding phase.

EIG Global Energy Partners presented a binding proposal, which must be considered by the Executive Board of Petrobras in order to, if approved, start the negotiation phase.

The company does not confirm the amounts reported in the media and clarifies that the execution of the transaction will depend on the necessary corporate approvals.

Petrobras reinforces its commitment to the broad transparency of its divestment projects and portfolio management and informs that the subsequent steps will be disclosed in a timely manner to the market in accordance with the company’s Divestment Methodology and Decree 9,188/2017.
