(Energy Analytics Institute, 12.Oct.2020) — Guyanese government officials held meetings with contractors from the mining and forest sectors in preparation of the rainy season with the objective of ensuring key artery roads in the hinterland, particularly in mining and logging areas are accessible and maintained.
The meetings were hosted by Guyana’s Natural Resources Minister Vickram Bharrat, the Commissioner of the Guyana Geology and Mines Commission (GGMC), Newell Dennison, as well as along with GGMC technical managers, the Natural Resources Ministry reported 12 October 2020 in an official statement.
