YPFB To Suspend Gas Service To Caranavi

(Energy Analytics Institute, 21.Aug.2020) — Bolivia’s Yacimientos Petrolíferos Fiscales Bolivianos (YPFB) announced plans to suspend residential gas supplies to communities in Caranavi starting 21 August 2020.

The Bolivian state entity didn’t state a reason for the suspension nor did it say when services would be reinstated.

YPFB said 21 August in an official statement that the transport of liquefied natural gas (LNG) was in route to the community.
