(Energy Analytics Institute, Piero Stewart, 29.Feb.2020) — The Petroboscán joint venture, which partners Venezuelan Petroleum Corporation (CVP) and Chevron Corp., is advancing with a management and optimization project related to a materials warehouse in the Boscán field, located in the municipality of La Cañada de Urdaneta in Zulia state.
Activities at the field warehouse include the physical organization of materials and include arrangement of sheds A and B and the main waste yards as well as the so-called 35, state oil company Petróleos de Venezuela, SA (PDVSA) announced in an official statement.
The companies continue boosting security related to the warehouse including erection of an 1,230 linear meter perimeter fence as well as other activities related to asphalting, construction of patio roofing and improvement of shed B, recovery of assets and disposal of scrap metal, PDVSA said.
