(Pemex, 24.Sep.2019) — Petróleos Mexicanos (Pemex) reports that the recent demonstrations demanding changes to the working conditions of its trusted employee base are imprecise and aimed at discrediting the responsible, rational and efficient use of the financial resources that characterizes the current management of the company.
Various actions have been set in motion, which contribute to the improvement of operations and financial stability of the company, without affecting the employees’ income. This allows for a better use of the available resources to meet the company’s goals, described in the Pemex Business Plan for 2019-2023. This will contribute to give certainty to our source of employment.
Pemex guarantees the respect and rights of its workers and acknowledges that they are the company’s greatest asset. Therefore, Pemex works towards always promoting the best working conditions for its employees.
