Bolivia Power Sector Demanding 1,511 Megawatts

(Energy Analytics Institute, Ian Silverman, 27.Mar.2019) — Demand from Bolivia’s power sector is currently 1,511 megawatts (MW) compared to supply of 2,236 MW, resulting in a surplus of 725 MW, reports online media La Razón, citing the country’s Energy Minister Rafael Alarcón.

The official said the plans for the year include incorporating into the system around 1,000 MW, which will increase the country’s supply to more than 3,000 MW.
