(Energy Analytics Institute, Aaron Simonsky, 21.Nov. 2018) — Bolivia’s Hydrocarbon Minister Luis Alberto Sanchez announced the country foresees hydrocarbon revenues of $2.5 billion in 2019 amid continued legal security as well as plans to sign gas export contracts.

In coming weeks Bolivia’s government will sign new contracts which could imply investments that could lead to discovery of giant mega-fields, reported online media La Razón, citing Sanchez.

Additionally, Sanchez announced the government also expects to sign contracts and Memorandums of Understanding related to the export of Bolivian gas to Brazil and Argentina with private companies in those countries and at ‘very good prices.’
