(Energy Analytics Institute, Piero Stewart, 29.Oct. 2018) — Opposition party Voluntad Popular will present a proposal called “Energy Venezuela,” which will outline guidelines established for a modification of Venezuela’s Hydrocarbons Law to reverse the fall of oil production in the OPEC country.
Among aspects outlined in the proposal are suggestions on how to implement flexibility in contracts with international companies since Venezuela “doesn’t have the money to reactivate the oil sector,” reported the daily El Nacional, citing Voluntad Popular opposition leader Yon Goicoechea.
