(Energy Analytics Institute, Jared Yamin, 19.Sep.2018) — Mexico Pacific Limited LLC (MPL) announced that TechnipFMC was awarded a PreFEED contract for its liquefaction project currently under development on the Pacific coast of Mexico.
TechnipFMC will provide engineering, project management, HSSE and construction support to help MPL advance the project to FID, MPL announced in an official statement.
The project is positioned for FID during the second half of 2019. With the majority of its permits in place, the focus is now on execution planning and commercial activities.
MPL, owner and developer of a LNG project located on the Pacific Coast of Mexico, is actively negotiating long-term contracts with top tier LNG buyers across the Pacific basin.
