BOGOTÁ, COLOMBIA (By Ana Sanches, Editores LatinPetroleum, 17.Sep.2026, Words: 190) — Brava Energia terminated a transaction related to divestment of 11 onshore oil and gas concessions located in the Potiguar Basin, in the state of Rio Grande do Norte.
The deal was with the consortium formed by Azevedo e Travassos Petróleo S.A. (“A&T”) and Petro-Victory Energy Corp. (“PVE”).
Termination of the transaction does not affect Brava’s short- and medium-term strategic planning, including its operational and capital allocation plans, Brava said on 17 Sep. 2026 in an official statement.
“Termination resulted from the occurrence of the contractually agreed longstop date without certain conditions precedent to the closing of the transaction having been satisfied by the buyer consortium, and Brava exercised its right to terminate the transaction pursuant to the terms and conditions set forth in the purchase and sale agreement (“SPA”),” Brava said.
Brava said it considers the transaction terminated and will remain attentive to any need to provide additional clarification to the market, pursuant to applicable regulations.
