MONTERREY, MEXICO (By Isaac Silvestre, Energy Analytics Institute, 27.Jan.2026, Words: 145) — The Port of Corpus Christi and its customers moved 203.4 million tons through the Corpus Christi Ship Channel in 2025, down by 1.5% compared to 2024 (206.5 million tons).
Compared to the prior year, liquefied natural gas (LNG) exports rose by 15.4% to 18.6 million tons. For the year, crude oil shipments fell 2.3% over 2024 to 127.4 million tons, while dry bulk and agricultural goods decreased 2.5% and 54%, respectively.
