These ships departed from the port of Veracruz carrying over 814 tons of food supplies destined for the civilian population of Cuba.

This, in keeping with the Mexican people’s long-standing tradition of solidarity with the peoples of Latin America and following the instructions of president Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo, the Mexico government said on 12 Feb. 2026 in an official statement.
