PANAMA CITY, PANAMA (By Piero Stewart, Energy Analytics Institute, 1.Sep.2025, Words: 97) — US ambassador Theriot is participating in the US Embassy’s observation mission for Guyana’s national and regional elections.
In accordance with regulations set by the Guyana Elections Commission (GECOM), teams from the US Embassy were deployed to several regions to observe the electoral process.
“The United States reaffirms our support for the peaceful democratic aspirations of the Guyanese people,” the US Embassy in Guyana said on 1 Sep. 2025 in a post on social media.
