PANAMA CITY, PANAMA (By Piero Stewart, Energy Analytics Institute, 15.Aug.2025, Words: 505) — Trinidad and Tobago’s Ministry of Energy and Energy Industries (MEEI) signed a landmark production sharing contract (PSC) with ExxonMobil for block TTUD1. ExxonMobil vice president John Ardill said the deal was “significant” and leverages oil giant’s expertise in Guyana’s Stabroek block.
The contract was signed on 12 Aug. 2025 in Port of Spain, the MEEI confirmed on 15 Aug. 2025 in a post on social media.
