BOGOTÁ, COLOMBIA (By Ana Sanches, Editores Latin Petroleum, 30.Sep.2026, Words: ) — Certain sectors across certain cities across oil-rich Venezuela continue to experience power outages. This is especially the case of recent in Carabobo state.
As a result, residents of various sectors of Carabobo took to the streets on 30 Sep. 2026 to protest the prolonged power outages, El Carabobeño reported.
The daily reported varied demonstrations, pot-banging protests, and road blockades in several municipalities across the state.
Posts across social media showed protests in areas of the municipalities of Guacara, San Joaquín, San Diego, Los Guayos, and Libertador.
Residents of La Granja, Las Quintas, and Naguanagua, also expressed discontent with the duration of the power cuts, the daily reported.
