Pitts, Energy Analytics Institute, 12.Feb.2026, Words: 214) — Venezuela’s acting president Delcy Rodríguez toured the Petropiar joint venture upgrading facilities of the Venezuelan state-owned oil company Petróleos de Venezuela (PDVSA) and Chevron Corporation, accompanied by US secretary of energy Chris Wright and Venezuelan petrochemical industry officials.
The Petropiar upgrader is located within the José Antonio Anzoátegui Industrial Complex (CIJAA) in Barcelona, Anzoátegui state.
