Crew of 600+ involved in oil cleanup and remediation of Pantepec River in Veracruz

MEXICO CITY, MEXICO (By Fidencio Casillas, Energy Analytics Institute, 21.Oct.2025, Words: 230) — In addition to the ongoing work to contain the oil spill from the 30-inch Poza Rica–Madero pipeline, specialized personnel from Petróleos Mexicanos (Pemex) have installed 650m of oil-absorbent boom, adding to the 2 booms that were previously deployed. 

To date, more than 180,000 liters of oil have been recovered.
