MEXICO CITY, MEXICO (Fidencio Casillas, Energy Analytics Institute, 18.Jun.2025, Words: 137) — Due to the meteorological conditions associated with the passage of Hurricane Erick, which is currently a Category 3 hurricane, Mexico’s Navy plan moved to the relief phase in the states of Oaxaca and Guerrero.
The Navy also activated its prevention phase in the state of Veracruz, which joins the states of Colima, Tabasco, and Campeche, which are currently in the same phase, Mexico’s Secretariat of the Navy, through the Mexican Navy, announced on 18 Jun. 2025 in an official statement.
