PANAMA CITY, PANAMA (Piero Stewart, Energy Analytics Institute, 17.Jun.2025, Words: 315) — Staatsolie Maatschappij Suriname N.V. signed a production sharing contract (PSC) with PETRONAS Suriname E&P B.V. (PSEPBV) and Paradise Oil Company N.V. (POC) for Suriname’s deep offshore block 66.
In the deal, PETRONAS, through PSEPBV, acquired the exploration, development and production rights in block 66. And, PETRONAS has committed to drill 2 exploration wells located in promising parts of the block during the first phase of the exploration period.
