PANAMA CITY, PANAMA (Piero Stewart, Energy Analytics Institute, 3.Jun.2025, Words: 240) â EP Petroecuador started its 2025 drilling campaign with the Pucuna D 033 well in Block 44 located in the province of Orellana. And, a total of 4 development wells (3 directional and 1 horizontal) are planned for the area during the course of 2025.
The wells will be drilled down to a maximum calculated depth of up to 15,000ft and the estimated drilling and completion time of each well is 45 days. The drilling activities will be undertaken by Sinopec, which maintains a specific integrated services contract with EP Petroecuador.
