EP PetroEcuador To Tender For Oriente, Napo Crude Oils

(Energy Analytics Institute, 2.Jun.2021) — EP PetroEcuador will hold two new spot sales on 3 June 2021, including one for the export of 2,160,000 barrels of Oriente crude oil and another for the export of 1,080,000 barrels of Napo crude oil.

The state oil entity is giving the winning companies the option to export the Oriente oil through the OCP Ecuador Maritime Terminal located in the province of Esmeraldas, the state oil entity announced 2 June 2021 in an official statement.

According to the terms and conditions of the tender, shipments of the Oriente oil will be made in six shipments of 360,000 barrels +/- 5%, while the shipments of Napo oil will be made in three shipments of 360,000 barrels +/- 5%. Both tenders will be delivered in June 2021, the company said.
