ExxonMobil eyes 950,000 b/d this year offshore Guyana when fourth FPSO comes online

PANAMA CITY, PANAMA (By Piero Stewart, Energy Analytics Institute, 16.May.2025, Words: 306) — ExxonMobil Guyana Limited, which is producing around 650,000 barrels per day (b/d) offshore Guyana from 3 floating production storage and offloading (FPSO) vessels, has an eye on those volumes reaching 900,000 b/d later this year once its fourth FPSO commences production.

This, considering that in Nov. 2019 ExxonMobil was still waiting to officially produce its first barrels offshore Guyana in the Stabroek block. That milestone came just 1 month later in Dec. 2019, and the rest is history.
