HOUSTON, TEXAS (Ofelia Paredes, Energy Analytics Institute, 2.Apr.2025) — Diversified proppant supplier Iron Oak Energy Solutions LLC acquired High Roller Sand, which operates a low-cost, premier facility in Winkler County, Texas within 1 of the highest-quality sand reserve deposits in the Permian Basin.
The Permian accounts for more than half of the total proppant demand in the US and continues to increase due to higher proppant intensity and longer lateral wells on multi-well pad developments, Iron Oak Energy said on 2 Apr. 2025 in an official statement.
