BATON ROUGE, LOUISIANA (Steve Stewart, Energy Analytics Institute, 21.Mar.2025) — Canada’s Minister of Energy and Natural Resources Jonathan Wilkinson, on behalf of the Minister of Innovation, Science and Industry Anita Anand, announced a contribution agreement under the Strategic Innovation Fund (SIF) of up to $200mn for the Cedar LNG project.
Cedar LNG welcomes the support from the Canadian government, which it said on 21 Mar. 2025 in an official statement was a key component to advancing an innovative and sustainable project that will result in one of the lowest emitting LNG facilities in the world.
