MEXICO CITY, MEXICO (Fidencio Casillas, Energy Analytics Institute, 20.Mar.2025) — Within the framework of Plan Mexico, Mexico’s president Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo announced an investment of $3.7bn by the Mexican company Grupo Fermaca Dreams for creation of 2 projects in Durango.
The first, Fermaca Digital City, will consist of a data center with its own electricity generation, while the second, Fermachem, will consist of a plant for the production of green fertilizers, which will add to food sovereignty and support for the Mexican countryside.
