(Energy Analytics Institute, 20.Nov.2024) — BW LPG Limited took delivery of vessel BW Capella on 20 Nov. 2024 from Avance Gas Holdings Ltd.
The announcement follows on the 14 Aug. 2024 announcement from BW LPG regarding the acquisition of 12 modern Very Large Gas Carriers (VLGCs) from Avance Gas Holdings Ltd, BW LPG announced 20 Nov. 2024 in an official statement.
Two of the 12 VLGCs are now delivered, according to BW LPG.
Payment details
With respect to the delivery, BW LPG issued 2,100,000 new BW LPG shares to Avance Gas as part-consideration for the above vessels. Following the issuance of the new shares, the total number of issued shares of BW LPG is 143,450,000, representing a total share capital in the amount of $346,765,048. The new shares have been legally and validly issued and are fully paid, BW LPG said in the statement.
After the issuance, Avance Gas holds 3,450,000 shares in BW LPG, representing approximately 2.41% shareholding.
