(Petrobras, 19.Apr.2022) — Petrobras, following up on the release disclosed on 13 April 2022, informs that, contractually, TotalEnergies EP Brasil Ltda. – TotalEnergies may make the updated payment for its 22.5% share in the compensation for Atapu until 28 April 2022.
The Atapu block was acquired by the consortium composed by Petrobras (52.5%), Shell Brasil Petróleo Ltda. – Shell (25%) and TotalEnergies (22.5%) in the 2nd Bidding Round for the Transfer of Rights Surplus under the Production Sharing Regime, on 17 December 2021.
The signing of the Production Sharing contract and the Coparticipation Agreement are expected to occur until 29 April 2022.
