(Petrobras, 25.Aug.2021) — Petrobras says interested parties in the sale process of the Abreu e Lima Refinery (RNEST) formally declined to submit a binding proposal for the purchase of the refinery. Therefore, the company is carrying out the internal procedures to end the sale process underway and will evaluate its next steps.

The competitive processes for the sale of the Alberto Pasqualini Refinery (REFAP), in Rio Grande do Sul, the Gabriel Passos Refinery (REGAP), in Minas Gerais, the Lubrificantes e Derivados de Petróleo do Nordeste (LUBNOR), in Ceará, and the Shale Industrialization Unit (SIX), in Paraná, continue in progress aiming at the signing of the purchase and sale agreements. The Landulpho Alves (RLAM) and Isaac Sabbá (REMAN) refineries have already had their purchase and sale agreements signed.

Petrobras reinforces its commitment to the broad transparency of its divestment projects and portfolio management and informs that the subsequent stages of the projects in progress will be disclosed to the market
