(Petrobras, 24.Feb.2021) — Petrobras, in clarification to a piece of news published in the media, informs that the Board of Directors requested the Chief Financial and Investor Relations Officer, Andrea Marques de Almeida, to seek with the Ministry of Mines and Energy, information about the existence of facts that should be disclosed to the market, in compliance with CVM Instruction 358/2002, in view of statements published in the media on 23 February 2021 regarding the company, that there would be “many wrong things at Petrobras”.
In compliance with the duties provided for in the aforementioned CVM Instruction 358/2002, the CFO had already requested this information on 23 February 2021, by means of an e-mail to the Ministry of Mines and Energy, and, due to the request made by the Board of Directors today, she reiterated the request, having not received any information until the moment of the publication of this release.
