Brazil’s Production Reaches 3.525 MMboe/d In Dec. 2020

(Energy Analytics Institute, 2.Feb.2021) — Brazil’s production of both crude oil and natural gas reached 3.525 million barrels of oil equivalent per day (MMboe/d) in December 2020, according to Brazil’s National Agency of Petroleum, Natural Gas and Biofuels (ANP)

Total production in December 2020 was comprised of 2.726 million barrels per day (MMbbls) of oil and 127 million cubic meters per day (MMcm/d) of gas. Oil production fell 1% sequentially, and 12.2% compared to the same year ago month, while gas production rose 0.5% sequentially and 7.8% compared to the same year ago month, according to ANP data.
