MERNNR Extends Deadline For El Aromo, Villonaco

(Energy Analytics Institute, Piero Stewart, 14.Apr.2020) — Ecuador will extend the deadline for the submission of offers within the public selection processes for concession of the El Aromo (200 megawatt) photovoltaic and Villonaco II and III (110 megawatt) wind projects planned for the provinces of Manabí and Loja, respectively.

The new deadline for the publication of the minutes of responses will be 28 May, Ecuador’s Ministry of Energy and Non-Renewable Natural Resources (MERNNR) announced 14 April in an official statement.

Delivery of technical and economic offers will be received on 30 July and recommendation for the award of the projects or declaration of no bids will take place on 17 September.
