(Energy Analytics Institute, Ian Silverman, 17.Dec.2019) — A delegation accompanying US representative Bruce Williamson meet with Bolivia’s Hydrocarbon Minister Víctor Hugo Zamora to discuss possibilities that the two countries work together on matters related to the hydrocarbon sector.
“Since the US is the largest producer of crude oil in the world, it would be very interesting to be able to finalize purchase and sale agreements within the framework of the development and integration of Bolivia and the US,” Bolivia’s Hydrocarbon Ministry announced in an official statement.
The officials also discussed other business opportunities between the US and Bolivia.
Other US officials participating in the discussions included economist Martin Palmero, and embassy officer Jeremy Slezak.
