(Energy Analytics Institute, Piero Stewart, 15.Nov.2019) — Chile’s state oil company ENAP reported record production of 23,089 barrels per day of crude oil in Ecuador.
The production level — reached on 29 October 2019 — is the highest level reached by ENAP Ecuador since it commenced operations in the Andean country in 2003, ENAP announced 15 November 2019 in an official statement.
ENAP said the record production levels were due to geological and operational success drilling new wells, reconditioning work or workovers at existing wells as well as other management activities at fields operated in Ecuador.
