(Petrobras, 16.Sep.2019) — Petrobras reports that it received the Official Letter No. 830/2019-SLS, which requests the following clarification:

“Dear Gentlemen,
In a news report published by the newspaper Valor Econômico, on 09/13/2019, under the title “Petrobras is studying to combine pre-salt gas pipelines and go public”, it is stated, among other information, that Petrobras:
- Is studying the combination of all pre-salt maritime pipelines into one company and then privatizing it through a public offering process;
- 2. Expects to complete the corporate restructuring of its maritime gas pipeline system later this year.
We request clarification on the appointed items, until 9 AM, 09-16-2019, with your confirmation or otherwise, as well as other information deemed relevant.”
Clarification
In compliance with Official Letter 830/2019-SLS, regarding the information provided by the newspaper Valor Econômico, on 09/13/2019, the Company clarifies that, as part of its active portfolio management, it is constantly studying and assessing partnership and divestment opportunities, in line with the strategies outlined in the 2040 Strategic Plan and the 2019-2023 Business and Management Plan, disclosed on December 5, 2018.
Moreover, Petrobras informs that there is no definition or resolution by the company’s internal bodies regarding the aforementioned combination of all pre-salt maritime gas pipelines in a single company, and the completion of a corporate restructuring involving such assets later this year.
