(Petrobras, 13.Sep.2019) — Petrobras reports that it has started the opportunity disclosure stage (Teaser), regarding the sale of its interests in two onshore concessions, including outflow facilities, denominated Cupiúba and Carapanaúba Cluster, located in the state of Amazonas.
The Teaser, which contains key asset information and eligibility criteria for selection of potential participants, is available on Petrobras website.
Subsequent stages of the project will be reported to the market in due course.
This release complies with Petrobras’ divestment methodology and is in line with the provisions of the special procedure for the sale of the rights to exploration, development and production of oil, natural gas and other fluid hydrocarbons, provided for in Decree 9,355/2018.
This operation is in line with the company’s portfolio optimization and improvement of capital allocation, aiming at creating value for our shareholders.
About Cupiúba and Carapanaúba Cluster
The Cupiúba and Carapanaúba Cluster comprises two onshore concessions, with integrated facilities, located in the state of Amazonas, in the city of Coari. The average production in 2018 was about 81 bpd of oil and 82,000 m3/day of gas. Petrobras is the operator with 100% stake.
