Morales Inaugurates 480MW Plant In Cochabamba

(Energy Analytics Institute, Ian Silverman, 12.Sep.2019) — Bolivia’s President Evo Morales inaugurated the 480-megawatt Entre Ríos Thermoelectric Plant in Cochabamba, reported online media La Razón.

The plant was constructed with an investment of $463 million and has state-of-the-art turbines (six for gas and three for steam) in addition to nine electric generators, six steam generators, nine power transformers, three water cooling towers and a demineralized liquid treatment plant, among others.

Morales Says Bolivia To Produce 3,370MW In 2019
