(Staatsolie, 24.May.2019) — Staatsolie Maatschappij Suriname N.V. and Decker Petroleum Marketing Co. LTD, from Trinidad, signed the production sharing contract (PSC) for the Nickerie block on 24 May 2019.
Decker will explore the Nickerie block for oil and gas. The duration of the contract is 37 years, including an exploration period of 7 years.
Rudolf Elias, Managing Director of Staatsolie, and Mahase Ragoonath, Managing Director of Decker, signed the contract on behalf of the companies.
