New Reference Price For Jet A-1 Fuel In Uruguay

(Energy Analytics Institute, Aaron Simonsky, 4.Apr.2019) — Uruguay will establish a new reference price for its Jet A-1 fuel as part of an initiative to position Uruguay on par with regional airports.

Authorities from ANCAP and Uruguay’s Ministry of Industry confirmed that from 29 April 2019 that an adjustment will be applied to the price of fuel for commercial aircraft, reported online media LaRed21 on 4 April 2019.

Per the adjustment, it is estimated that $0.35 per gallon (3.78 liters) will be added to the base international price.
