BOGOTÁ, COLOMBIA (By Ana Sanches, Editores Latin Petroleum, 29.Sep.2026, Words: 181) — Ambassadors of the European Union (EU) reaffirmed their technical and financial support for the energy transition in Bolivia.
This, during their visit to the Warnes II wind farm project of the National Electricity Company (ENDE) Corporation, one of the most important renewable energy generation initiatives in the department of Santa Cruz, El Diario reported on 29 Sep. 2026.
Ambassadors from 5 EU countries and the diplomatic corps visited various work areas of the wind farm complex, located in the municipality of Warnes.
According to the official report, the inspection took place on 25 Sep. and was led by Bolivia’s electricity and renewable energy vice minister Rudy Alberto Peredo Flores, along with ENDE CEO Mario Larrain.
Larrain emphasized the “new Bolivia is open to the world, offering security for investment and international cooperation, with a commitment to diversifying the energy matrix and achieving sustainability goals,” the daily reported.
