ATLANTA, GEORGIA (By Chad Archey, Energy Analytics Institute, 19.Sep.2026, Words: 112) — PETROBRAS received a new installment under the gasoline economic subsidy program
The state-owned company received the following installment for gasoline sales: R$448mn, related to gasoline sales from 16-31 Jul. 2026, pursuant to provisional measure no. 1,358/2026.
With this payment, the cumulative amount received by the Rio de Janeiro-based company to date under the economic subsidy programs for diesel fuel, gasoline, and liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) has reached R$9.9bn, the company said on 19 Sep. 2026 in an official statement.
