BATON ROUGE, LOUISIANA (By Steve Stewart, Energy Analytics Institute, 31.Jul.2025, Words: 120) — Disposal groups have been created for the assets that are expected to be disposed in the aftermath of the merger deal between Saipem and Subsea7.
“The disposal of this part of the portfolio will lead to a €105 million dividend to Subsea7 shareholders. And that will be [paid at the earlier of] the close of this particular permissible transaction or the effective date of the merger,” Subsea7 CFO Mark Foley said on 31 Jul. 2025 in the company’s second-quarter 2025 financial statement.
