BOGOTÁ, COLOMBIA (By Ana Sanches, Energy Analytics Institute, 6.Jun.2026, Words: 654) — The province of Neuquén and Argentina’s state-owned YPF SA signed a strategic agreement aimed at improving the competitiveness of the liquefied natural gas (LNG) project, in a long-term commitment to positioning Argentina as a global energy exporter based on the fundamental contribution of Vaca Muerta.
The agreement was signed by Neuquén governor Rolando Figueroa and YPF’s president and CEO Horacio Marín.
