OECD Secretary-General warns of geopolitical and policy uncertainties

BATON ROUGE, LOUISIANA (Steve Stewart, Energy Analytics Institute, 31.Mar.2025) — The Secretary-General of the OECD said that the current high level of uncertainty on the geopolitical and policy fronts brings with it substantial risks to its baseline projections. 

This uncertainty stems from announcements by US president Donald Trump on 2 Apr. 2025 regarding tariffs the North American country would impose on the world over for goods directed at the US market.
