BELIZE CITY, BELIZE (Aaron Simonsky, Energy Analytics Institute, 20.Feb.2025) — Petrobras received the resignation letter of Marcelo Gasparino da Silva who announced his intention to step down from his position as a member of the Board of Directors. His resignation is effective as of 20 Mar. 2025, or until a substitute is appointed by the Board of Directors, whichever occurs first.
Petrobras clarifies that, under the terms of article 150 of Law 6,404/76 and article 25 of the Bylaws, in the event of a vacancy in the position of member of the Board of Directors, the position may be filled by a substitute appointed by the Board of Directors until the next General Shareholders’ Meeting is held, which, in this case, is already scheduled to take place on 16 Apr. 2025, the company said 20 Feb. 2025 in an official statement.
