Venture Global’s Plaquemines LNG Receiving Increased Gas Deliveries

(Energy Analytics Institute, 19.Dec.2024) — Venture Global’s second liquefied natural gas (LNG) export plant on the US Gulf Coast, Plaquemines LNG, is receiving increased natural gas deliveries, according to the US-based Energy Information Administration (EIA).

Said gas deliveries have been on gradual rise after the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) granted Venture Global approval to start introducing hazardous liquids to Plaquemines Blocks 1, 2 and 3, or 6 liquefaction trains (2 trains per block), the EIA said 19 Dec. 2024 in its weekly natural gas update.
