(Energy Analytics Institute, 14.Oct.2024) — Trident Intrastate Pipeline LLC is launching a binding open season to solicit commitments for the construction of its 216 miles of 48- and 42-inch mainline.
The open season will begin 14 Oct. 2024, and conclude at 5 p.m. CT on 12 Nov. 2024, Kinder Morgan said 14 Oct. 2024 in a statement on its website.
Trident is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Kinder Morgan Texas Pipeline LLC. Kinder Morgan will operate the pipeline.
Trident will originate near Katy, Texas, and transport up to 2.8 Bcf/d to delivery points in Grimes, San Jacinto, Liberty, Hardin and Jefferson Counties in Texas, according to Kinder Morgan.
Trident has already executed binding transportation agreements with anchor shippers for a portion of the available capacity. Pending the receipt of required approvals and permits, the expected commercial in-service date for the project is 1 Feb. 2027.
