NRGBriefs: EIA Reveals Its Estimates of US LNG Exports between 2022-23

— The Energy Information Administration (EIA) estimates US LNG exports averaged 11.2 Bcf/d in 1H:22 vs 9.5 Bcf/d in the 1H:21 and the US-based agency expects LNG exports to avg 10.9 Bcf/d in 2022 and 12.7 Bcf/d in 2023. “We reduced our forecast for LNG exports in 2H:22 as a result of the outage at the Freeport LNG export facility in Texas. Our forecast assumes the facility will return to near full operations in January 2023,” the EIA said 12 July 2022 in a stmt on its website.

Cheniere Energy, Inc. (NYSE American: LNG) will issue its earnings release w/ respect to 2Q:22 financial results on 4 Aug. 2022 before the mkt opens. Cheniere will also host a conf. call for investors/analysts at 11am EST (10am CST) to discuss the results, the co. said recently in an official stmt.
