(MEEI, 6.Dec.2021) — The Honourable Stuart R. Young M.P, Minister of Energy and Energy Industries and Minister in the Office of the Prime Minister, along with a team of MEEI energy professionals is representing Trinidad and Tobago’s Energy Sector at the 23rd World Petroleum Congress and Exhibition in Houston, Texas.
Themed “Innovative Energy Solutions”, the conference provides an excellent opportunity for the Ministry of Energy and Energy Industries to promote the Bid Round process to potential investors via a display booth following the launch of the 2021 Trinidad and Tobago Deep Water Competitive Bid Round on 3 December 2021. Seventeen blocks in the north and eastern deep-water areas off Trinidad and Tobago are on offer and the technical team will be highlighting the prospectivity and the terms and conditions of the Deepwater Bid Round.
In addition to meeting with various key energy stakeholders, Minister Young will be speaking at the Congress in the Ministerial Roundtable addressing the topic Regional Developments and Opportunities: Latin America on Wednesday 8 December, 2021.

The exhibition seeks to showcase different energy perspectives and highlight several aspects of the energy industry such as technological advances, the role of natural gas and renewables, management of the industry and responsible operations, as well as its social, economic, and environmental impacts. Throughout the Congress, some of the most influential and respected leaders in Global Energy are scheduled to participate in Strategic Sessions, CEO Panels, Expert Workshops, Technical Forums and Round Tables.
